This Easter, the Tyne Theatre and Opera House will play host to Enchanted Entertainment’s spring pantomime, Peter Pan.
The Easter half-term pantomime returns to the Tyne Theatre and Opera House for the third year running, with their rendition of Peter Pan. A star-studded cast is set to take the stage this spring for a two-day extravaganza of humorous storytelling of the boy who never grows up and his adventures with Wendy in Neverland.
Lloyd Warbey, from Disney’s Art Attack, will take the lead as Peter Pan and Dani Harmer, best known for her role as CBBC’s Tracy Beaker, and for her more recent appearance on Strictly Come Dancing, will play the role of sidekick, Wendy. Comedy legend, Bobby Davro, will also join the cast as Smee.
With famous faces from children’s television, the cast is sure to excite the kids and keep them entertained this Bank Holiday weekend.
Enchanted Entertainment, who brought the immensely successful panto “Cinderella” to the Tyne Theatre and Opera House last Christmas, are renowned nationwide for their top-class productions, and this show is set to be no different. Despite stiff competition, Cinderella was voted the ‘Favourite Family Panto 2018’ in the Region by the North East Theatre Guide and ensured that the Tyne Theatre and Opera House pantomime has now become the ‘must watch’ panto in the North East. Enchanted Entertainment’s Artistic Director, Guy Pascall said: “We love the Tyne Theatre and Opera House and the staff are wonderful – it’s an absolute pleasure to produce the pantomime at such a beautiful theatre and we’re always made most welcome by the North East public.
