The Tyne Theatre and Opera House is a Grade 1 listed theatre rated opened in 1867. It is a social hub of entertainment, hosting variety performances, ballet, musicals and live concerts.
The Customs House in South Shields is South Tyneside’s biggest venue for arts and entertainment. They bring a host of productions to the region from both local and further a field.
The Playhouse Whitley Bay brings an array of musicals, tribute shows and popular bands to the north east coast.
The Cluny brings bands to the heart of Ouseburn and has a reputation for fostering great independent music, both local and worldwide. They bring some amazing names to their intimate venue.
The Sage Gateshead sits impressively on the Tyne. A music centre rooted deeply in the North, with an international profile.
