SWING BACK TO FREEDOM: BREAKAWAY TO A QHOTELS RESORT AND GIVE BACK TO KEY WORKERS

Golfers can emerge from lockdown in style and a breakaway to any of the QHotels Group golf resorts for the ultimate comeback overnight package from just £93 per person, while also contributing to a free staycation for a key worker.

Q Hotels Group has launched its Great British Breakaway package to enable customers to get back into golf, rediscover their leisure time and rejuvenate after a tough few months.

As part of the group-wide offer across all of its seven golf venues, golfers will be able to enjoy a luxury four-star overnight stay with breakfast, 36 holes of golf, a bucket of beer in their room upon arrival and a packed lunch for each guest.

Not only that, but they will also be contributing to the hotel group’s 1000 Nights Giveaway initiative, which, for every five ‘breakaways’ booked by September 30, will give a complimentary two-night break to a key worker as a thank you for their hard work throughout the pandemic.

The individual hotels and resorts will be working closely with their local communities by allowing people to nominate a key worker who they believe should be considered for the scheme. This is in addition to the group offering three free tee-times every Thursday afternoon during June, exclusively as a thank you to local key workers who play golf.

The Breakaway package is available to book now and officially launches in England on Saturday, July 4, and July 15 in Scotland, and will run for three months until Sunday, October 4, giving avid golfers the chance to swap living room putting practice and cabin fever for the lush greens and stunning courses located across the UK.

The golf package is available at the following venues, all managed by the UK’s largest golf resort operator: Belton Woods, in Grantham, Lincolnshire; Dunston Hall, in Norwich; Oulton Hall, in Leeds; Slaley Hall, in Hexham, Northumberland; Telford Hotel & Golf Resort, in Shropshire; and DoubleTree by Hilton Forest Pines Spa & Golf Resort, in Brigg and DoubleTree by Hilton Glasgow Westerwood Spa & Golf Resort .

Group CEO, Richard Moore, said: “We wanted to put together a package that would give golf lovers everything they could possibly want after such a long period of time away from the course, while also offering the ultimate staycation while overseas travel is still so uncertain.

“We understand it’s been a difficult time for everyone, with lots of sacrifices having to be made, but none more so than our key workers, who we are delighted that we are able to show our appreciation to through this offer. It’s the least we can do to thank our heroes and we look forward to welcoming these VIPs to our resorts!

“This package is not only great because customers get to experience our luxury resorts and spectacular golf courses, but also because it will give them the chance to link up with friends or family and provide them with some respite and a feeling of liberation – getting them back to what they love doing and the things they have missed so dearly, safely.”

Once reopened, all resorts will be following thorough cleaning regimes and strict hygiene regulations to keep all guests and staff members safe and prevent the spread of COVID-19 and other possible infections. All the hotels will be stringently following all advice and guidelines from the UK government and Public Health England on PPE and social distancing measures.

Prices of the offer vary depending on the venue and time of the week. For the 1000 Nights Giveaway, the promotion ends when 2,500 Great British Breakaway bookings are made by September 30, 2020. Breaks for key workers will be able to be redeemed until Spring 2021.

This fantastic package is available for bookings until September 30 by calling 0845 074 0064and quoting ‘GBBGOLF20’.
