BALTIC produce 300 free limited edition artist prints for local NHS Staff

BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art in partnership with Newcastle Hospitals Charity, have produced 300 free limited edition prints as a thank you to staff of Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

In 2020 BALTIC invited creatives from across the North East of England to take part in their first major open-call exhibition: BALTIC Open Submission. Alongside staff, a panel of three artists based in the North East; Richard Bliss, Lady Kitt and Padma Rao, selected over 150 artworks to be exhibited.

BALTIC commissioned those three artists to produce an original print especially for the North East’s incredible NHS staff, as a token of thanks and appreciation for their vital role in our society pre, during and beyond the pandemic.
