The Boiler Shop is a unique venue in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne, and full of great character and rugged charm.
Boiler Shop was constructed in the 1820s for the world’s first locomotive works, Robert Stephenson & Company; crucible of the Industrial Revolution. Rich in engineering history and architectural interest, it is Grade II* Listed.
In 2016, owner-custodians, Clouston Group, completed a major restoration and enhancement programme, introducing state of the art facilities to create an exceptional, dynamic space.
Hosting some of the city’s most prestigious and exciting gatherings, from live performances, club nights and exhibitions, to food and drink festivals. Boiler Shop is perfect for ambitious, memorable events and a broad spectrum of cultural uses.
