FRATE UNVEILS NEW ‘WINTERLAND’ FESTIVE ALPINE VILLAGE THIS DECEMBER

FRATE, the hugely popular container bar transforms into a festive alpine village

A one-of-a-kind Alpine Village is heading to Newcastle’s city centre at FRATE this Christmas. Launching on Friday, 1st December and running until 1st January, the container venue will transform its brilliant outdoor bar into a WINTERLAND with Aperol Spritz kicking off the festivities for the Après ski launch.

Under a new fully covered canopy, just off High Bridge in the city centre, WINTERLAND at FRATE will be filled with Christmas trees, fairy lights, and garlands galore. New DJs will fill the venue with festive music to get you into the Christmas party spirit, whilst new food vendors will serve mouth-watering Yorkshire Pudding Wraps, Bratwurst Hot Dogs with onion gravy, Pigs in Blankets, and Christmas-themed pizzas. Warming mulled wine, hot chocolates, and Christmas cocktails will also be served throughout December, topping off the festive joy at FRATE!

FRATE is also launching an open-air cinema at WINTERLAND, showing Christmas movie favourites throughout December, with daytime and evening shows that will add a magical twist to date nights, family fun and Christmas gatherings for friends to enjoy.

Booths and tables at WINTERLAND can be reserved for Christmas parties, after-parties and full venue hire is available for exclusive events, with food and drink packages on offer. Anyone can pre-book booths and tables between 20-250 guests during any day or time throughout December (excluding Christmas Day).

So, gather your friends and family and kickstart the Christmas festivities at FRATE WINTERLAND this December.
