LOVE ISLAND STAR HEADS TO HARDWICK FESTIVAL

THE WOMAN with all the inside information on one of television’s most sizzling summer shows is heading to the North East this summer.

And it will also be an opportunity to catch up with the performer who will coming to the region, hot on the heels of her appearances at world famous Hi Ibiza.

Broadcaster Arielle Free is co-presenter of the podcast Love Island:The Morning After, which shares the lowdown on all of the happenings at the famous villa.

But now she will also be showcasing her DJ skills as she heads to this year’s Hardwick Festival as one of the many top names who will be taking to the decks during the two day event.

It offers a great opportunity to fans of the DJ who aren’t able to head to Ibiza this summer and see her, where she’s headlined alongside big names such as David Guetta and Idris Elba.

Arielle and former contestant and presenter, Kem Cetinay, present the official Love Island podcast every Monday to Saturday, where they unpick the events of the previous day, often accompanied by celebrity guests.

The BBC Radio 1 presenter will join the line up on 20 and 21 August, which features some of the biggest names in DJing, including Danny Tenaglia, Purple Disco Machine and David Penn.

And that’s just some of a whole host of big names which will appearing at the festival taking place in the ground of Sedgefield’s Hardwick Hall Hotel, which includes headline performances from Stereophonics and The Specials.

Also appearing on the main stage across the weekend are Jake Bugg, Becky Hill, Seasick Steve, The Proclaimers and Ella Eyre, while a number of North East acts will also get the chance to show their music skills on the Introducing Stage.

John Adamson, who owns Hardwick Hall, is delighted that there is such a strong line-up.

“Arielle Free is a really strong addition to our amazing line-up of DJs,” he said.

“And we believe this is shaping up to be one of the best Hardwick Festivals that we’ve ever had.”

The festival also includes a fairground, children’s activities, food and drink village and the chance to sing along with Kroud Karaoke.

Day tickets cost £69 for adults, £35 for young people aged 12 to 18 and £15 for children aged 5 to 12, with all under 18s to be accompanied by an adult over 25.

Camping and glamping passes are also available for those who want to immerse themselves in the festival experience.
