Lee Kyle from Felt Nowt said:

“We see the Big Daft Jamboree as the North East version of the Royal Variety Show – the chance to
see not just household names but to catch some of the lesser known gems the local comedy scene
has to offer. We’ve announced some brilliant acts already and we still have more incredibly talented
individuals we can’t wait to reveal.

“When local charities ask for comedians to promote their events, Felt Nowt answers the call – and
over the last three of so years we’ve helped over £20,000 for local good causes, while also using the
power of laughter to boost people’s self-esteem, confidence and wellbeing.

“But as a volunteer organisation there’s only so much we can do – this special show will allow us to
do so much more.”

The Big Daft Jamboree takes place at the Tyne Theatre at 8pm on Tuesday September 24th 2024.
