Northumberland’s Pine features in the UK’s top 100 restaurants in the National Restaurant Awards

The team found out on Monday night (10th June) that they had been included in this year’s UK National Restaurant Awards at number 12 in the influential list of the UK’s 100 top places to dine for 2024 and had also been shortlisted for the Estrella Damm Sustainability Award 2024.

Launched in 2007, the National Restaurant Awards celebrate the brilliance and vibrancy of the UK’s dining scene, and reward the very best chefs, front-of-house staff, and restaurants the country has to offer, from Michelin-starred dining rooms to casual neighbourhood restaurants and gastropubs and reward the very best chefs, front of house staff and restaurants the country has to offer.

The National Restaurant Awards celebrate places in the UK that make eating out a true pleasure. The list of the 100 best restaurants in the UK is voted for by 200 industry experts from across the UK, including chefs, restaurateurs, critics, and food writers.

Pine’s chef-owner Cal Byerley and front-of-house manager and co-owner Sian Byerley remarked: ”Being recognised by some of the world’s most discerning foodies is huge for us, especially featuring in two significant restaurant industry lists. We’re proud of all that we’ve achieved over the last few years and that’s down to the hard work and dedication of absolutely everyone on the team we both want to say a big thank you to everyone we work with for helping to make the restaurant what it is.’’
