The North East’s canniest festive family panto, Cinderella, is set to sparkle at the Sunderland Empire this Christmas season.
I’m a CelebrityandGoggleboxstar, Scarlett Moffatt,will delight as the magical Fairy Godmother, alongside the undisputed Queen of Mean Miss Rory(Boulevard) as the feisty Rorina Hardup (we’ll make sure she minds her Ps and Qs), with Duncan Burtas her equally Ugly Sister Ruby! Nick Jnr’s Gemma Naylor(Go! Go! Go!) stars as Cinderella, together with ITV’s Superstarsfinalist (and Sunderland lad) Jon Mosesas the Prince and hilarious South Shields funny-man Tom Whalleyreturns as Buttons.

The entire cast and crew are suspects. Time to call in the local detective, Frank Cioffi, who just happens to be a huge musical theatre fan. With a nose for crime and an ear for music, Frank has his work cut out trying to find the killer whilst giving the show a lifeline.
