The Dining Society is back this Christmas with ‘Dine On The Tyne’
Unique outdoor dining pods set to return to Newcastle’s Quayside this winter
The popular festive dining experience, The Dining Society, will be returning to Urban Garden on Newcastle’s Quayside this winter, offering customers a cosy escape where they can enjoy food from award winning restaurant Fusion with family, friends and colleagues.
Looking out over the stunning views of Newcastle’s iconic bridges, the custom-made transparent dining pods – complete with indoor heating, a personal speaker system and free Wi-Fi – will be pitching up on the 17th November on the former site of the ‘Quayside Seaside’, opposite the Newcastle Law Courts.
The pods, which allow groups to dine in their own private restaurant for the evening, will be a welcome retreat and offer a unique experience as people celebrate the festive season.
Hosting up to ten guests per pod, diners will have the chance to enjoy a banquet over an hour and a half with the price of £45 per person with one of the most amazing vistas in the UK.
Organised by The Dining Society which has established itself as a mainstay on Newcastle’s Christmas calendar since its launch in 2018, since attracting over 50,000 diners to enjoy its varying menus.

In previous years we have gone with a more traditional Christmas menu but we want to keep developing and evolving the experience so pairing up with Fusion who people will know from Ramside Hall will step up the food offering and offer something different for our regular customers this Christmas.
Dining while looking out on the iconic views of the Tyne and Millennium Bridge was a highlight for so many last year so we’re really happy to be back.
