Premium Spanish beer brand Estrella Galicia is excited to announce that its month-long celebration of Spanish food, Gastronomy Month, will be taking place for a third year running this May. Hungry guests can get a taste of Spain early this year, as Gastronomy Month offers over 22 masterclasses, tasting menus, tapas tours, Spanish Fiestas and enticing offers to bite into for the whole month. What’s more, for this year’s celebration, Estrella Galicia will subsidise ticket costs for select events, so good food can be enjoyed together, all month long.

What’s on offer during Gastronomy Month:

Tapas Tours

Hosted across the country, guests can visit multiple restaurants in one go for the ultimate Spanish food tour, with select restaurants offering their finest small plates expertly paired with Estrella Galicia beer. In the South, Londoners can venture across Iberica, Pix pintxo and Brindisa with dishes including Empanadilla de atun, whilst in Brighton, guests can kick off their feast in the heart of the city at The Coal Shed, followed by Burnt Orange and Tutto. Northerners can voyage across Newcastle’s top Spanish bodegas Kaltur Dean Street, Fuego and Kaltur High Bridge. Finally, in Ireland, guests can start their journey of Spanish gastronomy at The Market Bar, enjoying dishes such as Gambas pil pil, followed by visiting 777 and Salamanca.

Tasting Menus

Satisfy your hunger with an array of exclusive tasting menus perfectly paired with Estrella Galicia at some of the UK’s most loved Spanish restaurants. In London, choose from a tasting menu at Rogues, boasting a range of seasonal sharing plates, or feed your appetite with a true Galician menu at Brindisa. In Ireland, tasting menus will be held in Dublin at both Hellfire, showcasing a unique style of flame-fired cooking, and The Exchequer, using locally sourced ingredients incorporated into a menu of Spanish influences, derived from Head Chef José’s upbringing in Santander. Further tasting menus will be available at Caroline Martin’s Sampa Bistro in Manchester, offering Brazilian fine-dining infused with British cuisine, as well as the home of Spanish tapas in Edinburgh, Piggs
