The North East’s largest scare event will return this October for 13 nights of terror! Come along to the Scream Factory and you will be immersed into a horrifying world that you couldn’t imagine even in your worst nightmares. We guarantee you’ll come out holding someone’s hand!
Set in the grounds of an old haunted nursery behind Kirkleatham Museum, Scream Factory features all the sounds, odours and backdrops you would only expect to find on a Hollywood movie set. This unique and creative horror attraction will prove to be a scream for young and old alike.

Face your deepest darkest fears and creep along our spine tingling woodland horror trail this Halloween.
Get the family dressed up in their spookiest outfits, grab your pumpkins and get into the Halloween spirit, and help us raise funds for disadvantaged kids in the region.
A family friendly 2.5 miles scary woodland trail in the dark of Derwent Walk Country Park starting and finishing beside Blaydon Rugby Club
Along the route you will pass through spooky spots featuring live performers. Look out for witches and zombies, skeletons and ghosts, Dracula and evil clowns – and make sure the werewolves don’t get you!

Halloween evenings at Beamish are sure to give you a Halloween fright night you’ll never forget. With The Town, Pit Village, Colliery Yard and Pockerley Old Hall swamped with petrifying creatures, only the brave will dare to knock on the doors to trick or treat…

TALES OF TERROR IN THE TUNNEL

On all Hallows eve join us in your best Victorian frippery for a Bloody Mary (alternative available) in the hotel lounge before we revisit ‘Old Ouseburn’ in the Victoria Tunnel. Do you have what it takes to make it through 175 years of hair raising history? Hear the truly terrifying tales of the tunnel, meet with its oldest ‘residents’ then calm your nerves with a blind tasting of four wines from our spooky sommelier; before we announce the best dressed guest/ghoul.

HOCUS POCUS FILM SCREENING
