TREETOP GOLF CHAMPION ACCESSIBILITY AND INCLUSIVITY WITH THEIR NEW SENSORY-FRIENDLY QUIET SESSIONS
Elevating experiences and creating unforgettable Family Fun Treetop Golf’squiet sessionslaunch at the new Metrocentre site
Treetop Golf, the exciting and immersive mini-golf venue has just introduced its quiet sessions at its newest site at Metrocentre, Gateshead. The first of these sessions will take place on Sunday 12thNovember 2023, from 9am to 11am. The Quiet Sessions will be a regular feature every second Sunday of the month, aligning perfectly with Metrocentre’s quiet hours initiative, aiming to create a more peaceful environment for shoppers.
These innovative quiet sessions are designed to provide a calm and enjoyable environment for individuals who may find traditional settings overly stimulating, making the jungle-themed mini golf adventure accessible to everyone.

To ensure a serene expedition, Treetop Golf has implemented several adjustments. There’ll be no strobe lighting, no background buzz and even The Fabulous Sacred Mask takes it down to a whisper.
Treetop Golf has also instituted a staggered entry system for the quiet sessions to further reduce crowding and create a peaceful ambience. This system ensures that visitors have a more relaxed and enjoyable time navigating the courses.
Conor Graham, General Manager of Treetop Golf Metrocentre expressed his enthusiasm for the quiet sessions, saying,
“We believe everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy our unique mini golf experience. Our quiet sessionsare our way of ensuring that those who experience sensory overload can enjoy the jungle without discomfort. We’re committed to making sure everyone is welcome at Treetop.

Gavin Prior, Centre Director at Metrocentre commented: “Due to the size and scale of Metrocentre we understand that it can be a daunting experience for some of our visitors. The introduction of SEND sessionsat Treetop Golfis an amazing addition and one we know our visitors will appreciate.”
Treetop Golf officially opened its doors at the Metrocentre, Gateshead, on Friday, 6th October 2023, marking its fifth UK destination. The venue offers an extraordinary and immersive mini golf experience, where guests are transported to an imaginative wonderland. They can choose between two distinct 18-hole courses:

The Tropical Trail course will challenge you to dodge colourful creatures, mystic woods and loco locals through a jungle theme where the weird and wonderful thrive. Look out for The Mystic Wood, Tweetopia, Tree Frog Falls and the lair of Baron Von Batwing.
In The Ancient Explorer trail, you’ll lose yourself in forgotten myths, crumbling ruins and cryptic carvings. Be on the lookout for The Fabulous Sacred Mask, The Sniping Viper, The Lost Lido and The Shrine of Mabel the Monkey Queen.
Whichever trail you choose, every Treetop Golf tour ends with the chance to win a free 18-hole trek on the Bonus 19th hole. This is also the place where you’ll find the free photo booth – where you can land yourself a special souvenir from your trip!
After the mini golfing adventures, guests can explore The Market, where they can enjoy a variety of cocktails, mocktails, nibbles, and sweet treats, offered in collaboration with local suppliers. [Full Circle Brew Co, Pink Lane Coffee Collective and Cake Stories.]
Treetop Golf welcomes walk-ins for mini golf, but they also provide packages for children’s birthday parties, work celebrations, and holiday gatherings via their VIP Experiences.
Treetop Golf is open seven days a week, offering specials like the Early Bird – where guests can play both 18-hole courses for the price of one during specific hours on weekdays and Sundays.
