Psychopath Talks Return To Newcastle Castle
Fans of the morbid and macabre will be pleased to know the popular true crime talks are back at Newcastle Castle in 2023.
Following previous sell out success, these all-new talks will be kicking off with ‘Psychopaths, Sociopaths & Narcissists’ on Friday, 27th January.
Serial killer and psychopathy expert Cheish Merryweather will talk through the key differences and how to protect yourself from psychopathy. Topics will also be close to home as British psychopaths Ian Stewart, Jemma Mitchell and Stephen Seddon are discussed throughout.
The next talk ‘Inside the Mind of Corporate Psychopaths’ promises an in-depth look at how those in the workplace can manipulate others, abuse trust, and wreak havoc everywhere they go. This talk will feature the cases of Bernie Madoff, Elizabeth Holme, Martin Shkreli and many more.
Taking place in the Harbottle Suite, the 1-hour specials will also include live psychopath testing. Cheish said, “There will also be live psychological games to play as the audience discovers if they have the mind of a psychopath; it will certainly be interesting to find out!”
Adding, “Most psychopaths are described as having highly manipulative personalities which means their crimes can go undetected for years. These talks aim to educate, fascinate and contribute to the ongoing conversation surrounding true crime with an injection of dark humour along the way.”
