The ultimate Christmas gift of rest and relaxation goes on sale today (2 November 2026) as an award-winning North East spa turns Santa.
Ramside Hall Hotel, Golf and Spa near Durham has unveiled a sack full of festive voucher packages, ideal for anyone wanting to give a loved one the perfect seasonal treat.
And to make the gift even better, the gift vouchers can last long after the festivities are over as they are valid up until 31 March 2027.
Among the deals on offer is the Enchanted Winter Escape, a day spa package which includes a glass of Prosecco, a two course lunch in the spa’s Fusion Asian restaurant and a 55 minute treatment.
Recipients can choose from an Elemis Expert Touch Facial or an Elemis Expert Deep Tissue Massage, a Ramside Swedish Massage or an Expert Face and Body Ritual.
The package is £179 per person Monday to Thursday and is available from 10am until 2pm or 11am until 3pm.
For those who really want to extend the experience, the spa has also launched A Magical Winter Stay which include an overnight stay in a premier room, hot drink on arrival and spa use from noon until 11am on the day of departure.
Guests will get a 25 minute treatment of their choice and a £25 per person allowance for dinner at either Fusion or the hotel’s Rib Room.
Anyone with less time on their hands by enjoy the Snowflake Serenity and Supper at £115 per person, which includes a 55 minute treatment of their choice and dinner at Fusion.
Christmas treats at Ramside aren’t just limited to the spa however, with the hotel also offering vouchers for The Full Sleigh.
This includes an overnight stay in a classic room with breakfast the next day, an hour of activities at The Pin – where guests can choose from bowling, interactive darts or the driving range – and a £20 per person allowance towards eating from the casual, American-style menu The Pin offers.
The deal costs £199 per couple Monday to Thursday and £249 per couple, Friday to Sunday.
For anyone who wants to give the gift of a visit to Ramside but without booking a specific package, the hotel has a range of general vouchers available which can be spent at the Spa, at The Pin or for a stay.
They can be bought in denominations from £25 up to £250.
