MATERIAL Girls and Sharp Dressed Men can snap up vintage threads when a special, free event heads to Newcastle for the first time.
Hot on the heels of successful fashion events in Middlesbrough and Sunderland, the NE Vintage Takeover is making its way to Tyneside on Sunday 15 November.

And, throughout the afternoon, around 20 stallholders will be selling the finest fashions from past decades – including Y2K and the 90s – at a Newcastle Vintage Fashion Market at the Taproom at Anarchy Brewery, Benfield Business Park, Heaton.
There will be everything from football tops and band t-shirts to militaria and customised clothing, along with accessories, festival wear, trainers and caps.
Stalls will be selling streetwear and sportswear as well as upcycled garments and designer labels and Anarchy will be selling its wide range of beers and serving its Rebel Crust pizzas throughout.
Known for its hugely popular Blonde Star, Wor Beer and Shearer’s Beer, Anarchy Brewery is gaining a growing reputation as an event space, hosting theatre shows, film screening and live bands.
But this is its first foray into fashion and co-founder Simon Miles said: “It’s probably fair to say we’re not exactly Dedicated Followers of Fashion, but we are definitely about showcasing North East talent, creativity and entrepreneurship.
“We’re really excited to welcome the NE Vintage Takeover’s Fashion Market for what promises to be a fantastic afternoon celebrating fashion, cultural identity and artistic expression.”
With a wide proscenium arch stage and full lighting rig, the Taproom – which has ample parking and is entirely on ground level – has a separate backstage entrance and full audio-visual connectivity.
It also has its own bar and facilities making it an ideal venue for everything from stage shows and dance concerts to poetry slams and open mic nights.
