Astravaganza Entertainment Presents Magical Production to Benefit Local Cancer Charity

Astravaganza Entertainment is delighted to unveil its highly anticipated staging of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast in aid of Maggie’s Cancer Care in Newcastle. From 28th May to 2nd June, audiences can immerse themselves in this timeless tale at The Exchange 1856 in North Shields.

With a mission to support the invaluable work of Maggie’s Cancer Care, the production promises a magical theatrical experience and a meaningful cause. Proceeds from charity buckets and raffles during the event will directly benefit Maggie’s, helping to provide essential support to those affected by cancer.

Renowned director David Ducasse, celebrated for his visually stunning and emotionally rich productions, leads the charge. “Beauty and the Beast is a story that embodies the power of love, acceptance, and community—core values that resonate deeply with Maggie’s Newcastle’s mission,” said Ducasse. “I am honoured to present this beloved tale in a way that entertains and raises critical funds and awareness for the services Maggie’s provides.”

Maggie’s Newcastle offers a sanctuary of free practical, emotional, and social support for individuals with cancer, their families, and friends, fostering physical and emotional well-being. Throughout the run, Astravaganza Entertainment will conduct raffles and charity collections at each performance, with prizes generously donated by local businesses.
