THE ARRIVAL of a new trader at STACK Newcastle which offers a new take on a classic favourite will be heralded by a great giveaway – for the first 100 people.
The Flaming Tattie is about to open at the Worswick Chambers entertainment hub, offering its exciting take on the much-loved baked spud.
And to celebrate the launch, 100 of the people who sign up will be able to try these delicious potatoes for free on Tuesday 13 October, between noon and 5pm on a first-come-first-served basis.

To be in in with a chance, anyone interested just needs to sign up at

The Flaming Tattie – which also recently launched at STACK Middlesbrough – has taken the humble baked potato and elevated it to the next level, flame-finishing the cheese topping to ensure its golden and crispy.
Visitors can choose from loaded favourites – a spud filled with cheese and tuna mayo, topped with more cheese and spring onions or double cheesy beans which come with crispy onions and a barbeque drizzle – or the range of fully loaded potatoes.
These include Pork and Corn Star – again packed with cheese, barbeque pulled pork, jalapenos, chipotle mayo and crispy onions – and Cheesy Chilli Crunch with a traditional or veggie chilli, sour cream, siracha mayo, fajita tortilla crunch and coriander.
A Crispy Chicken Parmo version and a Crispy Chicken Ceasar are also on the menu, along with a build-your-own version where diners can choose from butter or garlic butter and a choice of toppings.
“We are very excited to add The Flaming Tattie to our mix of food vendors at STACK Newcastle,” said Chloe Allan, marketing manager for food and drink at STACK.
“It’s that time of year when people want something more substantial to eat and there’s nothing better than something as comforting as a baked potato, but done in a totally original way.
“We hope that lots of people will sign up and then come along on Tuesday and be one of the lucky ones who will get to try their fantastic food for free.”
The Flaming Tattie will operate alongside other STACK Newcastle favourites, Dinithi Sri Lankan street food, Acropolis, Breadwin, Dylan’s Philly Cheesesteak, Bao Down, Pattersons fried chicken, Zza Pizzeria and Brack Burger.
