Newcastle Fringe Festival is looking for acts to take stage.
Newcastle Fringe Festival is looking for acts to take the stage across the 10-day festival this July.
Newcastle Fringe Festival will bring the best of UK touring performing arts to the city this summer, from Tuesday 18th-Saturday 29th July (excluding Sunday & Monday). The team behind the festival have launched their call out for applications, and are now looking for brilliant, small-scale touring work across theatre, music, family, comedy, cabaret and more to be part of the 2023 line-up.
Taking over 5 city centre and Ouseburn venues across 10 days, the festival is set to be even bigger than its 2021 inauguration, with 42 performance slots available. The venues taking part are Alphabetti Theatre (the NFF festival hub) and Prohibition Cabaret Bar in the city centre, along with Seven Stories, The Old Coal Yard and The Cumberland Arms in the Ouseburn Valley.
Applications are now open for performance acts to be part of this vibrant and dynamic festival. There are a range of options for artists, from one nighters, to a full 10-date run, all working on a 70/30 split in the artists favour, plus additional support from Alphabetti Theatre and the team behind the festival.
To apply please visit the festival’s website for more information and the online application form: https://www.newcastlefringe.co.uk/callouts
The deadline for applications is Tuesday 23rd May at 5pm.
For any questions or support with your application, please contact the festival’s Producer, Chloe Stott, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
