AN AUDIENCE with The Grinch, the best of K-Pop and a unique Christmas experience featuring every character from Bluey to Elsa, are on offer to bring some festive magic to Tyneside.
Newcastle’s Christmas Village is set to return this year as part of Newcastle’s Christmas Market – and one of the highlights at Old Eldon Square will the Rockin’ Reindeer stage, which has a whole host of special shows for the very young.

Organisers EVNT Inspirations – who deliver the village on behalf of NE1 and Newcastle City Council – have created three lively productions which will run from November 21 right until Christmas Eve.
Visitors can choose from Christmas With The Stars which will bring to life some much loved film and tv characters, where youngsters can dance and sing along with their favourites.
The Grinch will also be taking over the stage on key dates, getting up to all kinds of mischief with silly songs and surprises.
The third show is one that fans will not want to miss, when K-Pop Christmas takes to the Rockin’ Reindeer stage. Packed with high-energy music, easy-to-follow dance routines and lively games, this feel-good show invites young K-Pop fans to become the stars of the party.
There are a variety of shows each day, giving visitors plenty of choice.
Tickets start at £7.50 each plus booking fee, with the show suitable for three-year-olds and upwards.

The Rockin’ Reindeer stage experience is just one of a whole host of attractions that are available at this year’s Newcastle’s Christmas Village, including the biggest Ferris wheel to date.
Visitors can also enjoy Santa Stories in the tipi – which includes a special photo opportunity – and visit Mrs Claus’ Bakery to decorate cookies.
Returning again is Marshmallowland, where visitors will be able to toast marshmallows over an open fire and Festive Flix, a programme of feel-good Christmas films featuring favourites such as Home Alone, Elf, The Grinch, The Holiday and The Greatest Showman.
Mike Hesketh of EVNT Inspirations said all of the activities are already proving a huge hit.
“We’ve been absolutely blown away by the amount of interest there has been in the Christmas Village programme, the amazing feedback from last year has certainly spread across the region,” he said.
“We’re particularly excited about the fantastic shows that will be seen on the Rockin’ Reindeer stage, which will really create the magic of Christmas for the city’s young visitors.”
Ben Whitfield, Director of Communications at NE1 said:“We can’t wait for another packed festive programme on the Rockin’ Reindeer stage this Christmas. Alongside all the other family-friendly activities in Old Eldon Square, this year promises to be the best one yet, firmly establishing Newcastle as one of the best cities in the UK to visit during November and December.”
