Nic Sand is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, guitarist, vocalist and live performer originally from the Atlanta, Georgia area. His music draws from reggae, classic rock, blues, funk and progressive rock, giving his performances a fairly eclectic rock-oriented sound.

A significant part of his earlier career was with Graham’s Number, where he was the band’s lead songwriter, guitarist and vocalist from 2010–2014. The group performed extensively around Georgia and the Southeast.
One particularly notable part of that period was Graham’s Number’s appearance at Florida’s SunFest, where they opened for Bad Company. The band subsequently performed in Arizona on another occasion alongside Bad Company.

Nic has also shared stages with musicians including Ed Roland and the Sweet Tea Project, Ross Childress of Collective Soul, Fortunate Youth, and The Movement. Graham’s Number won the Atlanta Hard Rock Calling competition in 2011 and also appeared on 11Alive.
More recently, Nic has continued performing as a solo artist around Georgia and elsewhere. For example, he was featured in a 2026 performance at the Hard Rock Cafe in Pigeon Forge, where he was described as bringing a high-energy blend of his rock, blues, funk and reggae influences.
Nic Sand is playing a series of live supporting and guest slots at Trillians Rock Bar in Newcastle upon Tyne (Princess Square, Northumberland St, NE1 8ER) during October 2026
