A star-studded cast will take to the stage at Playhouse Whitley Bay this Christmas as Snow
White and the Seven Dwarfs returns from Friday 4 December 2026 to Sunday 3 January
2027.
Leading the cast as Snow White is Liberty X star Michelle Heaton, who returns to her
North East roots for the festive season. She is joined by Theo Mayne, known to millions from BBC’s The Traitors, who will play Prince Theodore.
Returning for his ninth season is firm audience favourite Daniel “Patsy” Mawston, who will
take on the role of the Wicked Queen. The Tynemouth performer has become one of the
best-known faces of the Playhouse pantomime and returns with all the outrageous costumes,
comedy and larger-than-life performance audiences have come to expect.
Back for a second year is Simon Barnard, this time appearing as the Queen’s hopeless
sidekick Herman the Henchman.
Joining the cast as Muddles is hilarious comedy impressionist Andrew Fleming, bringing a
mix of comedy, impressions and audience interaction to the production.
Producer Gary Telfer said: “We have a fantastic cast this year and there is something for everyone. Michelle is a brilliant North East name, Theo brings a huge following from The Traitors, and Patsy is always a massive favourite with our Whitley Bay audiences.
“Simon was so well received last year and Andrew is a very funny performer, so we are
looking forward to putting together a really strong family show packed with comedy, music
and everything people love about panto.”
Produced by Blue Genie Entertainment, the show will feature spectacular scenery,
colourful costumes, big musical numbers, audience participation and plenty of traditional
pantomime fun.
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs runs at Playhouse Whitley Bay from 4 December
2026 until 3 January 2027.
