Gaucho Newcastle launches Celebration Menu in honour of the new entrance on Market Street
Gaucho Newcastle has recently launched a Celebration menu in honour of the grand unveiling of its new entrance on Market Street. The Celebration menu will be available until the 31st of September, between 12pm and 7pm, offering an exquisite two-course meal paired with a signature cocktail for just £30pp.
Guests can indulge in the finest of flavours crafted carefully by Gaucho’s expert chefs, with highlights from the Celebration menu including their succulent 200g Chorizo steak, Classic Burger and Fillet Steak Salad as well as a choice of mouth-watering desserts, including their Chocolate Volcano and famous Dulce Flan with caramel sauce.
The Grade II listed building housing Gaucho Newcastle stands as one of the last in Grainger Town to be constructed. The unique construction process, initiated before the restaurant’s opening inMarch 2023, involved sourcing stone from the same Durham quarry used in its original construction back in the late 1830s, in order to preserve the building’s historic authenticity due to its listed status. The project, cost over £30,000 and took an additional 5 months to complete after Gaucho Newcastle’s initial launch.
On the 6th September 2023, Gaucho Newcastle was thrilled to finally unveil its stunning new entrance that blends history with modernity, welcoming guests to dine with elegance and sophistication.
Proudly boasting one of the best wine lists in the region, Gaucho Newcastle’s bar has created the perfect space for after-workdrinks, mid-week catchups and a cocktail haven for those looking to indulge in style. With its team of skilled mixologists, the diverse menu features a fusion of classic and contemporary cocktails, each with distinctive Argentine influences that make for an unrivalled and unique taste adventure. Highlights from the drink’s menu include Gaucho signature Citrus Negroni, Lychee Blossom and local specialities including the TT Tiple, Mint Forrest, Argentinian siesta and a range of non-alcoholic beverages.
