Geordie band LEAZES are made up of Joe King, Sam Dellow, Brandon Campbell, Ben Sanyamg, and James Wake, are the new guys in Newcastle’s music scene. This Summer is set to be super busy for them with a host of gigs across the north east.

July 13th sees them take to the stage at Bents Park for the South Tyneside Festival as part of The Next Big Thing line up. From over 101 amazing applications, they narrowed it down to 20 phenomenal acts. A lucky five will be performing Sunday concerts at the popular free event . You can see the line up here.

Next up for the boys is a very busy night as they play two huge gigs on the following Friday 18th July. First up they will be supporting The Enemy at Newcastle’s Times Square. This gig promises to be an amazing night with support from LEAZES, The Rifles, The Pale White and Rebel DJ’s.

Though LEAZES might need to do just that though as they hot foot it off though town to battle it out at Newgate Social that very same night for the Road to Hardwick Final! This epic battle of the bands offers the very best in North East talent the chance of a lifetime—to perform on the biggest stage at Hardwick Festival 2025. This isn’t just a competition, it’s a celebration of the grassroots scene, discovering new artists and having a good old boogie. As if that wasn’t enough to tire them out they also have a their very own headline night coming up at The Cluny on August 1st. This event promises to be one not to be missed! And tickets are selling fast, so don’t loose out on this great chance to see the boys perform!

Known for their euphoric live shows, relatable lyrics and anthemic hooks, the band have earned a loyal following that’s only growing louder.  So all aboard the LEAZES train, next stop Hardwick hopefully!
