MasterChef The Professionals’ Kyle Greenwood to Collaborate with Miso Restaurant

Kyle Greenwood, renowned sous chef at the prestigious Seaham Hall Hotel and MasterChef The Professionals contestant, renowned for his passion for Japanese cuisine, is set to collaborate with Miso Restaurant, located in the heart of Ouseburn, Newcastle.

From February 23rd to February 25th, Miso Restaurant will transform into an Asian culinary haven, featuring an exclusive tasting menu crafted by Kyle Greenwood in partnership with Miso’s owner, Paul Stewart. The six-course tasting menu, including welcome drink promises a fusion of traditional Japanese flavours with innovative culinary techniques, offering guests an unforgettable dining experience complemented by carefully curated beverages.

During this collaboration, Miso’s head chef Robbie Thomson and sous chef Jen Walsh will be away for a family wedding, presenting an opportune moment for Kyle Greenwood to showcase his culinary prowess in the Miso kitchen. The intimate 18-seat dining room will provide guests with an up-close view of the chefs at work, enhancing the immersive dining experience.

Paul Stewart, the owner of Miso Restaurant, expressed his excitement about this collaboration, stating, “We’re thrilled to host Kyle Greenwood and present our patrons with a unique culinary journey. This collaboration is a departure from our usual offerings, but we believe it will resonate well with our guests who trust us to deliver exceptional dining experiences.”

Guests will be welcomed in Miso’s ground floor bar, where they can enjoy pre-dinner drinks, including a selection of Sake, amidst the ambiance of vintage Japanese vinyl music played on the restaurant’s hi-fidelity sound system.

Kyle Greenwood shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming collaboration, remarking, “Following the success of my previous collaborations, I am excited to immerse myself in the world of high-end Asian cuisine.
