Newcastles Bibelot Nook celebrates it’s first birthday

Ouseburn vintage home store goes from strength to strength in first year.

Bibelot Nook opened on Stepney Road under Byker bridge, Newcastle Upon Tyne, in March 2023. Since opening, the shop has tripled in size. As well as featuring a large variety of vintage furniture and homeware, the shop also sells the work of local artists and makers. Most recently opening the upstairs area to stock a large selection of vintage clothing.

Priding itself on selling quality vintage items, and supporting 12 independent businesses Bibelot Nook has already become one of the Ouseburns must visit spots. The shops ever evolving selection of stock means that it is different for every visit.

After leaving a career in video production to open Bibelot Nook, Owner Dan Douglas said “It has been a real success already, I could never have imagined that it would be going so well within a year, I have a great team of stockists behind me and I am immensely grateful to all of our amazing customers”
