April ‘Ophelia at Home’ Menu From £45.00 * / **

Fancy a quiet night in then why not enjoy a romantic meal for two, or an intimate gathering with friends as you indulge in Nick’s classically French three course Ophelia at Home Menu.

This month’s menu starters include a seasonal terrine, a fresh spring gnocchi with wild garlic, a classic Mediterranean cassoulet, all then perfectly rounded off with a Parisienne classic tarte Bourdaloue.

Each month Nick and his team lovingly prepare a different menu showcasing some of the very best seasonal French regional dishes, so you don’t have to lift a finger – Each monthly menu consists of two starters to share, a main course and a dessert.

Why not push the boat out and add a cheese plate to your menu? Our chefs have selected some of their favourite French regional cheeses for you to enjoy either before your pudding or with a class of something after dinner. Our chef’s selection includes:

Délice de Bourgogne – is a decadent triple cream French cow’s milk cheese that is made in the Burgundy region of France.

Fourme D’Ambert (AOC) – is one of France’s oldest cheeses, a creamy, dense and subtle mild blue cheese from the Auvergne, that’s been made in the region since before Roman times.

Comté (AOP) – this is a classic French cow’s milk cheese from the Jura Massif in eastern France, which has been made to the same unique recipe for over ten centuries!

If you’re wondering which wines to pair with your meal let our sommelier time save you the trouble – as they’ve selected two complimentary wines for you to try including a delightful Cherveny Blanc 2020 from the Loire a light and refreshing blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay with hints of pear, green apple, and jasmine and citrus peel aromas and to sit alongside the cassoulet a big, bold and decidedly moreish Corbières – Château Ollieux-Romanis Lo Petit Fantet d’Hippolyte Rouge 2021, a blend of Carignan, Grenache and Syrah grapes which deliver an intense fruit nose with hints of sweet raspberry and kirsch fruits.
