This Grand Prix style event is a step up from your average karting session. The 1,200 metre circuit on a Newcastle stag do is known as one of the most challenging in the UK with very fast straights and tight technical corners to negotiate. It has hosted both national and international race meetings, so you’ll be racing on the same tarmac as the best of them. After a safety briefing, it’s time to jump in the karts for a practice session. You’ll be racing in 390cc Sodi karts which can reach speeds of up to 60mph on the straight, with up to 30 karts all racing at once. Once you have battled it out for positions on the grid, you’ll take part in a half-hour head-to-head race. Feel the adrenalin start pumping, as you get ready to race, then put the pedal to the metal and GO!
