But the festivities begin long before the big day itself. On Thursday, June 27th, the Jenningsbet Northumberland Plate Festival kicks off with the Seaton Delaval Handicap Stakes, setting the stage for three days of exhilarating competition.

On Friday 28th June, visitors can prepare for Gosforth Park Cup Night, a hugely popular evening in the city’s sporting calendar. This will be followed by an electrifying performance by the legendary band MADNESS, who will bring their timeless hits to ignite the night with an unforgettable performance of musical magic.
