But the festivities begin long before the big day itself. On Thursday, June 27th, the Jenningsbet Northumberland Plate Festival kicks off with the Seaton Delaval Handicap Stakes, setting the stage for three days of exhilarating competition.
On Friday 28th June, visitors can prepare for Gosforth Park Cup Night, a hugely popular evening in the city’s sporting calendar.
