Television personality, author, actor and singer Tom Read Wilson is bringing his brand new show, The A–Z of Me, to Newcastle’s Tyne Theatre & Opera House on Saturday 12 September 2026 – and current ticket sales suggest the performance could sell out.
Best known for his appearances as the charming receptionist on E4’s Celebs Go Dating,
Tom will take to the stage for an irreverent and intimate journey through the alphabet,
revealing more about himself letter by letter and word by word.
Through songs and sonnets, stories and smut, The A–Z of Me promises audiences a
delicious slice of theatre and a fascinating glimpse into the life and mind of one of
television’s most distinctive and eloquent personalities.
The show forms part of Tom’s debut UK tour, which has already generated a hugely
enthusiastic response, with numerous performances around the country selling out.
Newcastle audiences are therefore encouraged to book soon to avoid missing the
chance to see him live at the historic Tyne Theatre & Opera House.
Speaking about the tour, Tom Read Wilson said: “I am thrilled to the marrow to be setting off on my debut tour of the UK. It has been a pipe dream for as long as I can remember. It is a very intimate revue, so sharing it will be a most personal passion project.”
