Chopstix’s newest store is set to open in Trinity Square, marking the launch with a huge event featuring discounts, entertainment and prizes
CHOPSTIX, the UK’s favourite noodle bar, has announced it will be opening in Trinity Square, Gateshead, celebrating with a huge launch party complete with a DJ, discounts and prizes.
Joining its growing number of over 140 locations nationwide, the new store is set to open its doors at 11am on the 20th of August, marked with a massive opening day event for eager fans.
To celebrate the launch, Chopstix fans can bag themselves a small box of noodles with 2 toppings for just 99p, but noodle lovers will need to be quick, as the offer is only available from 11am – 3pm on the 20th.
Fans can also sign up online for the chance to grab one of 1,000 portions of free spring rolls, plus win merch and discount vouchers throughout the day.
Open 10:30am to 10pm the new store will bring over 20 new jobs to the city and seat 90 eager diners.
Chopstix has quickly become one of the UK’s most popular quick service restaurants, with its focus on Asian flavour in a quick and accessible way making it a firm favourite throughout the country.
As well as takeaway classics like Sweet & Sour Chicken and Salt ‘N’ Pepper Chicken, Chopstix has a range of fresh flavours and brand favourites including Chicken Katsu Curry and the restaurant’s signature Caramel Drizzle Chicken.
Fans will also be able to order for delivery or takeaway from the new store to satisfy any cravings they have at home.

The new stores and refurbishments this year, build on a strong 2025 that saw 17 new store openings and refurbishments across the UK, including Leeds, Huddersfield and Hull, as well as the launch of the new Chopstix 3.0 concept in Bridgend.
The noodle bar’s popular dishes are also available to order through Chopstix Delivery and Click & Collect via the website or Chopstix app, as well as from delivery platforms including UberEats, Deliveroo and Just Eat.
