- The Glasshouse launches Mix Tape, taking place from Friday 29 August to Sunday 31 August.

The Glasshouse is introducing even more ways to enjoy music with its Mix Tape programme. In a hand-picked lineup of sound and sensation, five events will take place from Friday 29 August to Sunday 31 August, with more to be announced throughout the year.
Volume 1. will blend the mellow and the high-energy – drift through slow yoga to live piano, boogie on a baby-friendly dancefloor, sip afternoon tea to Paul Simon’s Graceland and catch Oasis on the big screen, all in the venue’s Northern Rock Foundation Hall.
Kicking off on Friday 29 August, film fans can watch Oasis: Supersonic – On the Big Screen. The venue will dim the lights, crank up the volume and roll out the beanbags for the documentary that captures the raw, loud, unfiltered rise of one of Britain’s biggest bands.
On Saturday 30 August, Jo Hutton, founder of Yoga for Tired People, will lead Yoga in Harmony. Every breath, posture and pause will be guided by pianist Paul Taylor playing live. Soft sounds will drift through the air, a calm energy filling the space – movement and music in perfect balance.
There’s a chance to relive rave days with little ones in tow at Little Groovers on Saturday 30 August. Among bubbles and glow sticks, a live DJ will spin tunes to get very small dancers going big on one joyful family dancefloor.
