On Friday 13th February – something magical this way comes!
The first of 10 events in 2026 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Sir Graham Wylie Foundation has been confirmed – and it promises to be a spellbinding evening!
Friday 13th is a date considered unlucky for some… However, anyone with a ticket can consider themselves very lucky – as only 80 seats will be available to watch Chris Cross in action!
This intimate and exclusive theatre-style magic show will run for approx. 90-minutes straight, taking place at the No.19 clubhouse at Close House Golf Club, within the grounds of the Close House estate.
Sir Graham said: “I’m very pleased that Chris Cross is involved with the 10th anniversary celebrations of my charity.
He’s a good friend of mine and he’s also the best magician in the North-East! He promises an evening of fun and magic like no other – so make sure you don’t miss out!”
Chris Cross, from Newcastle, is no stranger to North-East crowds and has been entertaining the region for over 25 years with his performances. He’s dubbed as ‘The Great Magician of the North!’ – it’s not hard to see why! He’s performed his unique brand of banterful magic worldwide, for the likes of Mike Tyson, Alice Cooper, David Hasselhoff and even The King of England, to name but a few! Expect masterful sleight of hand, combined with some larger scale tricks and plenty of comedic banter with the audience. This is an adult-only show, for over 18’s – so be sure to leave the kids at home! Come along, let your hair down, have a laugh and be amazed!
Cross said: “Sir Graham and I have been pals for years and I see all of the great things his charity does. He’s a very humble guy and does a lot for the region – not just because he has the means to, but because he genuinely wants to – and his love for the North-East shines through vividly. A lot of his kind acts are rarely publicised but widely appreciated. He’s a top man and a great friend – it’s my pleasure to be involved with his foundation – and I’m very much looking forward to amazing and amusing the audience at my show!
