This August, the LEGO® Group is inviting families to step into the world of creativity and friendship at the FREE LEGO® Friends Paw-some Summer Party pop-up at Newcastle’s Grainger Street. For two days only – Friday 15th and Saturday 16th August – this vibrant event will offer children and their families an opportunity to immerse themselves in the playful, colourful world of LEGO Friends.

Located in central Newcastle, Grainger Street, the pop-up will feature interactive zones where children can express themselves through hairstyling, crafting, and hands-on LEGO Friends building activities.

Faraji’s Salon is set to be a crowd favourite, offering little ones a creative ‘glow-up’ complete with hair glitter and clip-in brick braids inspired by the beloved LEGO Friends characters. Families can capture the moment at the dedicated LEGO Friends photo booth, perfect for sharing their new look.

Those with a passion for arts and crafts will love The Craft Party Station, where children can create their own personalised pet party banner to add to the paw-some party décor, just like those featured in the LEGO Friends Cat Birthday Party & Treehouse Set. Every visitor will have the chance to enjoy hands-on fun at the LEGO brick play stations.

“We’re thrilled to bring the LEGO Friends Paw-some Summer Party to Newcastle,” said Kuran Sharma, Head of Marketing for UK & Ireland at The LEGO Group. “This event is designed to spark creativity and encourage children to express themselves while celebrating the values of friendship, fun, and imagination that are at the heart of LEGO Friends.”

The Newcastle pop-up continues LEGO Friends’ mission to inspire kids to dream big and build their worlds – not just with bricks but with creativity, individuality, and community.
