Aelius Alternative Festival — The Globe, Newcastle — 18 April 2026

Newcastle-based multi-venue music festival Aelius Alternative makes its third return on Saturday the 18th of April at Head of Steam, The Globe, and Mosaic Tap.
Over the past two years, Aelius Alternative has supported over 160 creatives, worked with over 35 partners, and helped celebrate 6 grassroots music venues. Over 300 people attended the festival last year and with a great and dedicated team of content creators and local press we are gearing up for our third edition. Aelius Alternative are again working with national organisation Tonic Music for Mental Health, local music academy NAME, Scottish gig swap platform Off Axis, and management agency Night Owl Promotions.

Lost Minds Festival — Exhibition Park Newcastle — 11 July 2026

After a hugely successful sold out 2025 event, the biggest dance festival in the North East is back for an epic fifth year on the 11th July 2026! We will once again welcome over 10,000 music lovers at the stunning Exhibition Park, Newcastle, where some of the most in-demand DJs from across the planet will be serving up madness for the masses.
The full line up has now been announced! First to be revealed is cultural phenomenon Holy Priest, blurring the lines between Hard Techno, Rawstyle and Hardcore with zero apologies. Also taking over the Lost Minds stage will be EDM royalty Oliver Heldens, with his global reputation, he is a force to be reckoned with. Darren Styles, Billy Gillies, and Laidback Luke are also featured on the 2026 team-sheet.
Hard Techno champions ‘Second Speed’ will return to deliver a stacked bill of heavyweight hitters, dialling the tempo and intensity through the roof. As well as Holy Priest, the stage will play host to the likes of Elmefti, Jazzy B2B Jowi, and we’ll also see the return of Jason Cluff.
Iconic institution ‘Cream’ is back to deliver the biggest Trance anthems in all its euphoric shades. Headlining will be the likes of Dash Berlin, Mauro Picotto, plus many more.
