Snow White vs Cinderella
The Stand Comedy Club, Newcastle December 2026 – Ages: 5+
Named ‘Best Panto’ by the North East Theatre Guide, this year Snow White and Cinderella go head-to-head in a battle of princesses, packed with big laughs, big songs, proper panto chaos and plenty of surprises. Expect all the things you love about a great family panto, with a distinctly alternative Stand twist. With a focus on affordability, accessibility and relatability, tickets are from £8 – a price that means you can actually afford to bring the whole family.
Featuring a cast of some of the North East’s best comedy performers and writers for a panto that promises to be as funny for the grown-ups as it is for the kids.

Hannah Walker, named North East Theatre Performer of the Year 2024, returns as Cinderella alongside Elaine Robertson, winner of the Edinburgh Festival Panel Prize, as Snow White.

Trying to keep the pair from tearing each other apart is Fairy Bubbles, played by Kelly Rickard, host of Sunday for Sammy, alongside the lovable idiot little Barry Harris, brought to life by The Stand favourite Lee Kyle.

And that’s not all.
The show will also feature on screen appearances with special guests and friends from previous pantos, including sensational Katherine Tanney, Comedian Hal Branson, Ben Crompton as seen on Game of Thrones and Sammy Dobson as seen on Casualty.
A panto for people who love pantomime and for people who normally hate it
Running time: 100 mins (including interval)
