14th September 2025 – The Cluny
With over 300,000 monthly Spotify listeners and an international reputation for crafting emotionally resonant, genre-blending compositions, their sound merges elements of jazz, ambient, reggae, and minimalism. Their concerts feel more like shared meditations than traditional performances, and this tour marks the live premiere of their latest work, Kosmos, out now via Luaka Bop, the label founded by David Byrne.
The album is a spacious, introspective record, composed from musical fragments that have been slowly evolving over 15 years. Recorded using their signature setup (acoustic bass and piano, reel-to-reel tape machines, analogue effects, and no overdubs) it’s a deeply personal work that reflects on presence, trust, and connection in a noisy time.
For the tour, Bremer/McCoy are bringing their full analogue rig: their acoustic instruments, spring reverbs, tape delay, custom-built speakers, and live mixing system. The result is a live experience that mirrors the intimate atmosphere of the studio the album was recorded in.
“Sometimes, to achieve simplicity, you have to go through complexity. Once we’ve set up all our gear, we’ve essentially recreated the studio setup we used to record Kosmos,” McCoy explains. “That is a setup we know well and really like to play with. We really try to use our sound as an instrument in itself.”
