The Purple Peacock has carved out a reputation in Newcastle for being more than just a bar and restaurant — it’s a venue that leans heavily into spectacle, with dining experiences that are part theatre, part party. Their Coyote Wild night is one of the boldest additions to that mix, bringing a full-throttle evening of dance, music, and high-octane entertainment that takes its cues from the iconic Coyote Ugly movie. It leaves for a high octane night, its equal parts performance and party, with dancers leaping onto the bar and stage, singers belting out anthems and a soundtrack that dares you to not sing along. Just daren’t ask for any H2O!
You’ll find yourself on your feet clapping along. The show thrives on audience interaction, so I imagine every night feels slightly different dependent on the energy of the crowd. Don’t worry where you are sat as the cast work the whole space from stage to bar ensuring you are close to the action.

Guests are greeted with the Peacock’s trademark glamour from the moment they arrive, but things really kick up a gear once the performers hit the bar. Expect professional dancers, powerful vocal performances, and a soundtrack stacked with rock anthems, pop crowd-pleasers, and those guilty-pleasure sing-along hits that guarantee the whole room gets involved. The energy is infectious — performers climb, dance, and own the space, while the audience is encouraged to join in, clap, sing, and let loose.
The event isn’t just about the show, though. Like all Purple Peacock evenings, food and drink play a starring role. Diners can enjoy a menu that fuses comfort favourites with Instagram-ready presentation, alongside cocktails that match the theatre of the evening. Sharing platters, big flavours, and colourful drinks keep the tables lively, while the entertainment unfolds around you. It’s an immersive experience that feels like a night out, a party, and a performance all in one.

For groups of friends, hen parties, or anyone wanting to shake up their usual weekend plans, Coyote Wild offers a unique Newcastle night that feels both polished and unpredictable. It’s the kind of show where no two evenings are quite the same, because the crowd is as much a part of the action as the performers themselves.
Prices start from £24.95 for bar seats which includes a welcome drink or £29.95 for stage side seating – please check website for more detail.
