FREAK OUT WITH A FREE SHAKE

FREAK OUT WITH A FREE SHAKE

SWEET-toothed film fans are invited to enjoy a Freaky Friday of their own tomorrow at Newcastle’s newest dessert outlet.

The 2003 cult namesake movie saw Lindsey Lohan star as a girl who swapped bodies with her mum after opening a fortune cookie during an argument on Friday 13th.

And while there might not be any body swaps on the horizon, there is the opportunity to tuck into a free Freakshake, courtesy of Sugar Stack, at Stack Newcastle.

The dessert outlet has added four new Freakshakes to its menu of waffles, pancakes and other sweet treats.

And to mark its own Freaky Friday it is giving away 200 shakes, which can be claimed by liking Sugar Stack’s main Instagram and Facebook post and showing it to Sugar Stack staff.

The creamy shakes are Oreo Crunch, made with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce blended with milk and Oreo cookies and topped with Oreo crumb and cream and The Jammy Dodger – a mix of strawberry sauce, fresh strawberries, mini marshmallows, vanilla ice cream and cream.

The Wheely Chocolate comprises chocolate sauce, a Wagon Wheel biscuit and ice cream topped with chocolate sprinkles and cream, while the Biscoffy is a combination of Biscoff sauce, vanilla ice cream and Biscoff crumb, Biscoff biscuit and cream.

They can choose from any of the four flavours and will be asked to tag the venue in their posts using #SugarStack

Gemma Dishman, Marketing and Special Projects manager at Danieli Group, which owns Stack Newcastle, said: “We’re prepared to bet film lovers will be using the Friday 13th date to revisit Freaky Friday, which is a cult classic – so what better way to get in the mood than with a free freakshake.”

For more information about Sugar Stack visit Stack Newcastle on Instagram and Facebook.

The shakes will be on a strictly first come, first served basis.
